Our interns build relevant skills that relate to their areas of interest. These include accounting, marketing, and engineering.
We are finalizing our pricing. We expect our services will qualify for the $150 Federal tax credits (under 25C), subject to final rule making by the IRS. As such, you may be eligible for those tax credits.
Performa Homes does not currently earn any revenue. However, our interns are paid a minimum of $15 an hour. Once Performa finalizes its pricing, any revenue generated will be distributed equally among the interns.
Expenses incurred for their wages, insurance, licenses, training, this website, mentoring, and other costs are paid for by donations from Aspen Enterprises, Inc. and family members.
At the current time, we do not. Performa Homes is set up as a for-profit company, even if it currently earns no revenue. Before we would accept any donations, we would want to ensure that there is 100% transparency and compliance with applicable rules and regulations. One of Brian's responsibilities will include learning how and where Performa Homes can earn revenue or other sources of funds to offset its expenses.
Excellent customer service. We expect every interaction you have with our company to be a pleasure.
Our in-home services are performed by Aiden, a certified Home Energy Score Assessor, following the requirements outlined by the U.S. Dept of Energy. Our reports will provide insights into your home's performance.
Please note, our interns do not have the experience or skills to develop specific scopes of work or improvement packages. But their recommendations are reviewed by mentors with decades of experience in the high-performing home industry. We also expect to recommend other professionals that can deliver specific scopes of work and meet high standards, including but not limited to members of the Pearl Network.
As the current time, we expect to assess approximately two homes a week - or about 24 homes over the summer break.
The volume of homes will be highly dependent not only on demand from homeowners, but also on the time available for the interns and the mentor(s). We expect that our interns will need to obtain jobs over the summer (since these internships are unpaid). As a result, we expect they will only be able to commit between 5 and 10 hours a week to Performa Homes. Additionally, Performa Homes' primary mentor is a senior executive and can only donate his evenings and weekends to support the interns.
We would accept guidance from experienced professionals that can help our interns gain new skills and enhance their existing skills. If you are interested, please contact us.
